The Melbourne Town Hall. Located in the heart of the city, the hall is a magnificent heritage building. Completed in 1870, this is where many decisions were made that helped develop Melbourne. Olympic Park. Since 1909, the Olympic Park has been filled with activities. The Olympic Swimming Pool has been rejuvenated and is now the Melbourne Sports and Entertainment Center, and Lexus Center.


The Snapper comes into the Port Phillip Bay as early as September and is the most popular fish. You can also find flathead and whiting in the bay. Fishing from the piers is permitted from the piers at Port Melbourne, Middle Park, St Kilda, Brighton or Sandringham. Boat rentals are also available.
